How did MDA ever think his fast pace 7 seconds or less offense would work when he plays so few players? You’d think a guy with his insight into offense would be the guy who’d play almost everyone since his favourite offense requires the most energy out of all.

Before the season he said they agreed on a plan for Harden, CP3 and I think even Ariza on minutes. Obviously the injury changes things, but still. Seeing Harden and Ariza go around 40 minutes so often is just insanity.

Show some faith in your players, develop them and give them some minutes! How can you expect players to trust those bench guys when the coach doesn’t? I know it’s beating a dead horse or clubbing a seal at this point, but what is MDA’s angle here? Does anyone understand?

Did you see what happened when Bobby got minutes tonight?

There are no other NBA-caliber bodies to play on the roster. The plan will work fine one CP3 and Luc get back. Harden's still averaging about a minute fewer per game than last year, PJ and Luc are both averaging around 30mpg off the bench, and Clint's still under 25 mpg. Even Gordon's only playing two more minutes per night as a starter.

who said anything about 7 seconds or less offense......that is a made up term by the media

the option is to take the best shot where you can.

Hardens minutes are down by the way

A shot in first 7 seconds is preferable for him. And I meant for a guy who came up with the Suns style, how does he not get that you should use more bodies and fresh legs.

well we do have players out, i'd get a 9 player rotation will be used when we are all healthy

you don't play players just for the heck of it. Harden, Gordon and Ariza won't play 40 minutes when everyone is healthy

    Inside OTMax head:

D'antoni just won coach of the year. Rockets are off to an 8-3 start without Chris Paul.

I should make a thread to complain about D'antoni.

Someone take this kid's thread priveledges away please.

i love the offense for the most part, but the end game standing around is getting too old. we have to have some cutting. atleast until harden does something. the ball watching allows the defense to rest and relax on us. James is the most devastating iso/pnr player but we could atleast keep the rest of the defense honest with cuts once in a while.
