Lol this is such a joke. So both CP3 and freaking D'Antoni have no idea now? Hopefully he's back by Thanksgiving.
11/22 vs nuggets is the perfect day for his return. I hope he waits until that day. Thats our first game after all the grizzlies games.
More context to the baseball analogy “I just think it is sooner than later,” D’Antoni said. “I don’t know how soon that is. For me, it will never be soon enough. I guess we can use the baseball analogy; he’s probably rounding second and pretty close to third so we’re getting there.” Paul has been out since playing against the Warriors in the season-opener Oct. 17. He hurt the knee Oct. 11 in Memphis. “We’re just going to keep on improving,” forward Trevor Ariza said. “It’s going to be a bit of an adjustment, because he has been out. But I don’t think it will take too long for him to find a rhythm because he’s always in tune to what we’re doing. Getting him back is going to be exciting. We can’t wait. I know he’s ready to get back on the court, as well.” Feigen link: http://www.chron.com/sports/rockets/amp/Rockets-coach-Mike-D-Antoni-on-Chris-Paul-s-12338510.php
This must mean lebron will waive his no trade clause and cavs will send him to us for ryan anderson + zhou qi and a protected second rounder
How can you be both rounding second and also at the same time close to third. By definition if you are rounding second you should still be close to second. If you are closer to third then the rounding of second should have already been completed.
It surely isn't. I was shocked when KD made it back for the playoffs. If you've never had one, take it from me, it's the absolute worst. I had one on my shin, felt like I had a ****ing baby through my leg every day for about 2 months, took about 6 to feel good again and 3-4 years later even though the bone is healed if I hit it just right it feels like death for 4 tenths of a second. I was shocked to see KD play so soon after his. It was the playoffs and all but still... CP3 is here to help us in the playoffs. James gon' James during the regular season.
It seems like he has been out an eternity but it has only been 3 weeks. Give him all the time he needs - we need him to spend much of the reg season developing chemistry but we really need another creator on the floor in the playoffs. I say shelve him until after Thanksgiving and then bring him back into the fold during our weaker December/late Nov. schedule.
