Today was lit \m/ just got home like 35mins ago. I'm glad I was able to switch my schedule today so I could make it out. Getting there was crazy for us tho. Went to the Northside to catch the metro rail, waited like an hour but seemed like we were running late (1:30 already and we were way at the back of the line). So we found these couples who were down to share Uber fare and so we did that but still had to walk 15mins to the parade. Glad we got to basically see em front row too after switching spots. Uploading some vids on YT rn.
Incredible playoff run leading to an amazing World Series. I’m biased because I’m an Astros fan; but I’m sure many saw this as one of the greatest World Series ever!! Congratulations Astros!! May It Be the First of Many
Congrats Astros, I had to sacrifice a lot to watch this World Series. Game 2 was during my rehearsal dinner. Game 3 was during my wedding! Game 4-7 was on my honeymoon in Mexico. If we were at dinner I was watching it on my phone. Best part was I had to watch it all in Spanish lmao! Shout out to my wife for dealing with me through all that lol!
Just finished rewatching WS highlights and still could barely get over the games the Astros lost or when the Dodgers were scoring in games 2 and 5 even though the Astros eventually won.
https://www.facebook.com/kashonna.durham Watch the video with Nathan Ross. I would almost guarantee that is a Clutchfan.
I want to dedicate this song to the Astros for several reasons: Their home city inspired them in the wake of Harvey Lost only once in the playoffs at home Motley Crue are from L.A. The video was shot at the Summit
Was looking for fan reactions on game 7 WS and found this hilarious. Around the 5:00 minute mark when The Astros win it he starts to boo and then almost says you guys suuuuu and stops mid way once he realizes we don't because we are the champs baby!!!
i liked the classy fan that gave him a hug and said, " the sun will come up tomorrow." other than puig with his resting puig face, Kershaw, pederson, taylor, hill, morrow, forsythe, barnes, seager, ethier and bellinger, there aren't that many dodgers players I dislike.
Did they give Leslie the $299 World Series ball or the $799 World Series ball or the $1999 World Series ball or the $2999 World Series ball? Or, the $25 ball with no sig?
Long time Rockets fan from Melbourne, Australia. Started following the Astros not long after joining the forum in '99. Houston has pretty much become a big part of my life even though I've actually never been there before (it will happen, and hope I get to meet some of you and go and catch a game or 2. Already did that with @The_Yoyo at Staples Center) This season was so bloody fun to watch. Always entertaining reading people's comments here. Winning the Series has been a long time coming. Wish I could have been there to celebrate. Can only imagine how insane it would've been. Hopefully they get back in next season. I better start saving.
