James Harden is gonna get screwed over again in MVP Voting

this honestly should be his year if the Rockets can get the 2nd seed in the West, but with the MVP being a media voted award I have no hope

 

The best thing for the favorite is to have Harden at #2.

The thing is, now that Westbrook has already set the precedent that "record and team wins don't matter" the Bucks could finish with a mediocre 6th seed in the East and he could still win MVP because of media #narrative.

I sincerely hope Harden just focuses on winning, as he and MDA admitted they both let it distract them! If he didn't get it last year, there's very little chance he will get it at all so couldn't care less anyway.

so for the 2nd year in a row, basketball refrence has James Harden as their leader for MVP with a 36% chance to win out of 10 contestants. If you remmeber last year this same poll had Harden as the mvp winner in 2017, but westbrook still took home the award.

Harden also had 44% of the vote out of 5 contestants in 2015

Seriously, screw the media lmao. Guys like chris broussard really dont know nearly as much as they think they do about this game.

Some media members are guys who tried to get coaching or gm gigs but werent smart enough. We denied kenny smith and chuck is on record as trying to get a gm job at points.

 

If harden keeps up this level of play and remains top 4 seed. He's a lock for mvp.
