Honest question: does anyone here actually believe that this thread had a cause and effect relationship with watsons injury?

 

I don't believe this thread had anything to do with Watson getting hurt. But anyone that knows enough about Houston sports and injuries(especially Texans).Should also know you are playing a long game of Russian roulette by making threads like this.
Whether it's the day after a world series championship two months or 2 years later. Someone will refer back to this thread and rake the op over the coals. So unfortunately the op will reap what they sow.

So if im understanding you correctly, you are saying jinxes make no sense and this thread obviously didnt influence watsons injury in any way.

However, we should avoid making threads like this because if an injury happens everyone will look to blame someone or point fingers and OPs for threads like this are the easiest targets?

Obviously this thread has nothing to do with the injury. It’s honestly just more shocking that HeyNow totally “called it.” Which isn’t the right terminology, but I don’t know how else to define it. So ****ing crazy.

 

For the most part you got the gist of what I wrote. I read some of the comments in this thread and other threads referring to this thread as a jinx or stupid or ban the op. I just think it was an unfortunate thread that is getting the op attention he doesn't deserve.

Exactly the same amount of belief as I did with @swyyyguy making the unofficial threads.
