Hey, Dodger stadium isn’t MMP. We were a great road team but the playoffs are a different animal. I would rather have to win two at home than one on the road. Still it is one game and anything can happen.

Not so sure about that. Can't see any way they possibly trade him.

@Dave12 go to another forum and spew the constant racial slur talk. Trade Gurriel, blah blah. He is one of the top 3 performers in these playoffs so far on offense. Get a grip.

People suggesting that Astros trade Gurriel are idiots and just as bad as all the self-righteous Dodger fans calling Yuli AND Astros fans AND the team racists. Gurriel has nothing to do with Reddick, Bregman, and Altuve failing to bring runners in or Dodgers capitalizing on Verlander hitting Utley.

    yuli is my favorite player.

professional hitter. anyone saying trade him is clearly over emotional.

We will bring him back again next year and try to win in 2018. regardless of what happens in game 7

the same can be said for LAD

in Game 2, at home, w a one-run lead w 2 outs in the 9th, w the best closer pitching, LAD blew it.
in a pitcher-friendly park like Dodger Stadium, a far cry from the hitter-friendly MMP

This means so much.. just don't know when you will have this opportunity again. Please...the team, players, management, fans, city, and state all deserve this. The good guys need to win.

Anyone notice Kate Upton with her Japanese hand fan last night? She looked hot.

I think Yu Darvish will have additional motivation, as will the Dodgers, but as John Smoltz noted, they key is to stay within yourself. Want the ball, but stick to the plan, and don't overthrow, don't try to win it on one swing. Could work against them. Either way, it's basically a 5 inning game for the Astros if you ask me, they have got to get the lead before Kershaw or Jansen, or the odds dwindle. I do believe he will motivated.

You guys are here talking about players potentially being motivated for a game 7 of a World Series between two 100 win teams? Ok...

Talk about an extreme overreaction. Give me a break. The guy apologized, explained his side of things, Darvish himself accepted the apology and said he still respects Gurriel, and Gurriel is going to serve his punishment. It was a terrible thing for Gurriel to do, but he learned why he was wrong. It's much ado about nothing at this point other than the SJWs like you who can't seem to get over it. LET IT GO.

Yeah, this narrative that Darvish will somehow use the Yuli gesture as motivation is totally asinine. If you need motivation to get pumped to start Game 7 of the one of the greatest World Series in history, then you shouldn't be starting in the first place. No matter what happens with Darvish's performance tonight, the Yuli gesture will have literally no bearing on that outcome.

    World Series Game 7.

    Tie game.

    Top of the 9th.

    Runners on.

    2 Outs.

    Jansen staring down Altuve.

That's how this season should end.

Exactly! Plus - if he in fact does think about that imo it would be more of a mental distraction to Darv anyway.

Let's just hope he doesn't bring his good stuff so we can get some runs on the board.

    Go Stros!

MMP has played as a more pitcher friendly park than Dodger Stadium over the past 3 years, if not longer.

Too much being made of Darvish's motivation for tonight. It has absolutely nothing to do with Yuli and everything to do with the fact that it's Game 7 of the freakin World Series.
