Man i have been trying to switch from Sprint PCS to T-Mobile...Its been a week and nothing...Seriously pissing me off...Have any of you had the same experience with any carrier? It also sucks that you have to wait 2 hrs to even find out the status of your switch!
does anyone know if they charge you if you change your wireless carrier to a new one and want to keep your number?
Some carriers are charging for it Sprint is one of them, I believe. Verizon and T-Mobile are the two that don't charge, IIRC.... I dont know in what form the charges come though. Definitely call and check, cuz otherwise that might end up being a whole other pain in your butt.
Yes Sprint does charge, and as far as i know so does AT&T, but the charges from Sprint is something in between 39cents to $1.40 so its not going to hurt you at all. I believe this is because the company buys these numbers and they lose money when people port their numbers, so thats why they charge people.
