[Unofficial 2017 World Series] Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

I have to watch these by myself or amongst people who can forgive me.

 

1. Went to every home post-season game except for WS Game 4 & 5 (because I had a long planned out of town trip scheduled)
2. I can't be anywhere near this website during play-off games.
3. I'll be at home for this one.

 

I won’t make it to downtown tonight. Debating on if I should step out anywhere or watch it with someone.

 

I'll be watching at a Halloween party with a bunch of T shirt fans.

Things these guys from my GFs job have said to me over the past few weeks

1. Dude they need to put Verlander back in
2. **** is Kershaw going to start again tomorrow
3. Keuchel is a pitcher he won't need to bat
4. Correa sucks this year
5. Altuve is 5'1

I wonder how many people are going to be in a Astros fan costume.

 

I think Bregs and Springs are 1a and 1b in either order. I really don't give a rip who wins it (they can give it to a Dodger for all I care if they think they deserve it) as long as the Astros bring home the gold. And...hopefully it is tonight. I don't think I can take a game 7. I'm worthless here at work today.

 

Bro, those are as bad as the crap my tshirt fan roomate says. He walks in and out of the game, maybe watches 30 seconds at a time and cumulatively like 4 minutes out of most of the astros playoff games I watch.

We will have 2 outs against the dodgers in a high pressure situation and he will come in and yell all animated “astros need to get a fukkkin double play!!!”

 

I’ve never been more terrified on a Halloween...but it has nothing to do with ghosts.

I doubt very seriously I’ll be posting here tonite...I might...we’ll see. But regardless, the ride here this year has been a ton of fun. Glad I got to experience it with you guys, even if only electronically.

 

I will be locked in my room while there's a party of sorts going on at my place.

 

I'm in DC and will be watching at home with the wife. This is the first game she's said she wants to watch, so maybe she's good luck. Honestly though, I'm so pumped and nervous that I almost want to just listen to it via my At Bat app. However, I wouldn't be able to deal if I missed the clinching game on TV. Please, please..for the love of all pure and decent...finish this tonight.

 

First Rockets championship game against the Knicks, my brother-in-law and family were at our house. I locked myself in the bedroom and they watched downstairs.

I want to be the only one whining, complaining and making stupid comments.

 

Every major news outlet yesterday:

How did Kershaw blow this?
Are the Dodgers over managing their pitchers?
Can a game with this much offense really be a classic?
Are the balls too slick?
What is this, a football game?

Someone interjects....hey maybe like the Astros are good..?

Nope! The World Series should clearly slant in the direction of an LA team.

Like they can’t wrap their heads around the fact that the Astros offense makes any pitcher look human. Altuve is the best bat this century.

I just love that our main 4 guys plus Gurriel are all legitimate World Series MVP candidates. So awesome.

 

I'm chillin like a polar bear's toenails.

Won't be worried until we trail big, or trail late.

Neither of those situations may happen.

 

I have never been so nervous, anxious, hopeful, worried, optimistic, and pessimistic for a sporting event in my life!

My wife has been really into the playoffs this year, she's a casual fan really but sees how much I care about our Htown sports so she's been getting into it, she can't handle the up and down emotions of this series at all lol. So we're gonna get drunk at home and yell and b**** where no one else can hear us.

Just left a big thing of candy outside for the trick or treaters
