In terms of game-winning shots, that is. He may not be a superstar, but he sure looks better than the guy we saw in the playoffs with his new-found freedom.
I still can't believe Westbrook won MVP. Remember that insane year Kobe had back in 06 but his team had a low seed. Kobe wasn't at all a serious a contender for MVP that season and he had much worse teammates than Russ. Other than Lamar Odom, the rest of Kobe's teammates were either too young to meaningfully contribute or even worse, flat out NON NBA material, ie SMUSH EFFING PARKER ---- who was the starting POINT GUARD, think about that for a second. Russ still had an NBA level squad that finished around where they should have. Russ being the ball hog and stat padder he is, did exactly what was expected of him. Obviously, the Thunder would be a flat out lottery pick if not for him, but they weren't exactly a contender as evidenced in the Playoffs where they pretty much got swept.... Obviously as a Rockets fan, I strongly believe MVP should have been Harden. However, if it wasn't Harden, the only other acceptable candidate would have been Kahwi. Talent wise, the Spurs had NO business winning 60+ games, which goes to show the impact of Kawhi.
He can definitely make an all star team in the East. Funniest thing is that PG probably won’t make it in the west. Guards: Harden Russ Curry Buckets Wild card Dame Conley Klay George McCollum Wiggins
This morning i was almost dying when i was reading a dude saying "Oladipo is playing much better this season, i guess playing with Westbrook helped him becoming a better scorer/leader"...lmao
Yes but did he average a triple double? case closed, nothing else matters. they got rid of the east vs west format, and it's a draft now
They still select the pool of players the same way--12 from each conference. Then the captains choose their teams.
NBA's have to create heels and faces. Durant and Curry can longer take that crown, LeBron is overplayed. Who else but WB? He's victim of KD, he had a triple double. No legal, off-court, etc. problems. He got a pity party. As for Kawhi, you realize before that Orlando game this past week, the Spurs were undefeated without Leonard? They're a capable team, due to their system, without Kawhi. Kawhi's game changing ability is only 2nd in the overrated category to Giannis. SIL
Not 100% sure in regards to rules for positions, but if we're talking guards he's not going ahead of: Kyrie Irving Kemba Walker Kyle Lowry DeMar DeRozan John Wall Bradley Beal Just off the top of my head. SIL
bump, dude is having a great season...just dropped 33 pts in the win against Cavs. 23ppg, 44% on 3s, 5rbs, 4 ast. 2 stls, 1 blk in 33 MPG -- Westbrook held him back.
