    It seems the accusations from social media were enough to cancel an appearance of his.

    And I'm not sure why Reuters is going to such lengths as referring to him as "U.S. journalist" and stating that he is the "author of a new book about the death of a 43-year-old black man, Eric Garner, at the hands of the New York City Police Department". I mean, are they trying to cover for this guy?

    It seems that SJWs are offended by and attacking non-fiction now apparently. Makes you wonder why 50 Shades of Gray was relatively unscathed in criticism despite the fact that it makes women look stupid, helpless, c*m boxes. I'm guessing because it was written by a woman and not a man.

    Reuters is a global press agency not based in the United States. The Garner book is presumably more recent and relevant than the "vampire squid" guff about wholesale banks, and provides context for any story about him, rather than "cover." Both perfectly reasonable and somewhat necessary qualifiers.
