Do you think that Ariza, Gordon and Capela is a good package for Anthony and would OKC be willing to make that trade?

 

Not only are you bad at these assessments, but you can barely read. Go back and read what I wrote. You do not have any clue about the relevant, specific stats that might support your claim. Hint: they don't support your claims, that's why you haven't bothered to check and you know it.

Also on offense, have a glance at Trevor Ariza's shooting over the past decade and AT WHAT VOLUME.

You're just making a clown out of yourself. But it had to be pointed out. Everyone reading, everyone you're talking to knows the particular, specific stats that would support/reject your assessment except you, and you're parading around acting like you know something. Your claims are so bad that everyone - even people who dislike Ariza's game - can flat out see you're lying about watching every game. And that's having mercy on you. Because if you are watching every game and having a look at the stats, and still coming to this conclusion then you must have the IQ of Ariza's left nut.

 

James looks like he's slowly building himself up each game. As his conditioning rounds into peak form, coupled with his offseason weight loss, the best of the Beard may be yet to come.

Im re-watching this game... Gordon was awesome on the start of 4Q. I hope he continue this thru whole season.

 

Stack two more Astros victories to the two we've got and the thread count will skyrocket once again. Just like the Rockets players, we're focused on the 'Stros.

 

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. He's quicker this year. See: Ryno's defense against Curry&KD in game one. He's legit better this year and I think it stems from his weight loss/being in great shape.

 

He's talking about the method they were using to slow down the pick and roll. The Charlotte defense kind of attacks the dribbler and keeps them up high rendering the pick fairly useless. I think MDmA needs an option or caveat for that defense because we'll see it again.

If I had to guess, @pauebtg was a lurker and couldn't lurk anymore due to the hate spitters.

Yes they're all different and in order.

 

Overall a solid game, we at least hit 20 threes for once and played some very good defense in more stretches than I can remember except for the Warriors game maybe. Mbah was amazing, he blocked, stole, got his hand in there and just bodied up anyone he had to guard. Tucker was a monster on the boards, at boxing out and hitting that corner three! Capela was decent, but has to learn how not to foul and should know better than get baited into fouls by Howard. I was overall disappointed in our strategy not to attack Howard, he commits fouls so easily that Capela should've gotten the ball on the block more and Harden & co should've attacked him more next time.

Bobby finally got playing time and showed he can fill in for now, but don't expect that to last. That was probably more of a back-to-back situation and understanding the Hornets are weaker than the Grizzlies. Black didn't play up to par unfortunately, but Ryno on the other hand. He played some very good defense! The threes raining was very key too, so if it wasn't for Gordon going bananas, he could've ended up with more. I do think our offense is still way too easy to defend at times. How we refuse to run the fast break is a bit infuriating at times because we definitely miss out on 3 to 5 easy opportunities per game. Still, good game and we came up in the 4th. Some guys did play too many minutes again, but that's because they didn't put the game away earlier.

I am just a fan. I don't waste my time on checking all those stats. I give my opinion based on what I saw. Ariza is trash.

 

Bev is a good (though not great) defender himself and is leading the league in steals right now. I have no issue with Bev's defense and I always liked him as a player. It's Ariza who most people here have blind spot on; I keep telling people this dude is not very good but for whatever reason people can't see through their emotions because he has been 'loyal' to the team, I guess.

And yes, Luc's defense is far superior to both of them.

They used this type of coverage multiple times, which is what brought it to my attention.

It just seems like a very nearsighted endeavor to have the big completely lose contact with the pop man, in case he were to roll rather than pop for example.

we compensate 3's for not being able to play elite Defense yet because Ariza and Paul 2/3 best defenders are out..
