I have been saying this for most of last year and this year. This rockets team has a lot of individual talent but does not have a good mix of players. I don't think this team can make the playoffs. This is my trade proposal. Francis/Mobley for Mcrady/Giricek. I don't know the cap specifics but the trade would be centered around these four players. The reason why I think this trade makes sense for both teams:

Houston: JVG likes one or two players to score majority of the points. With Yao Ming and Mcrady there is no question who those two players would be. The rest of the team would be tough minded, good shooting role players. We all know what Mcrady can do so I don't need to expand on that. As to who will play the point for rockets? Well considering they really don't have one now, it won't be that much of a loss. I think this trade will cut down the turnovers and increase the quality of shots that they will get. The rockets will have plenty of good shooters to surrond those two players. I am not big on the idea of Moochie playing the point, this is where they will have to be creative and find a good ball handling point guard that does not have to do too much, play d and hit the open jump shot.

Orlando: Considering how the magic are 1-11 or whatever, this would be a prime time to propose this trade. As sad as it is, Francis/Mobley can ball hog and lead a team to the playoffs in the east. The guard dominated east is much more suited for there style of play.

I have no opinion on this idea, but I do remember Tracy McGrady once saying that Steve and Cat don't pass Yao the ball enough and would get more shot opportunties if they did pass him the ball., and Mcgrady then added that he was jealous of them because he would love to have Yao on his team and bounce the ball off him for good passes.

No way, Orlando is stupid enough to do that.

I am starting to think that Francis is uncoachable. His style of play hasn't matured much in the past years and any good GM would recognize that.

Hes still living the days of being the 2002 Live cover boy.

Wow, I cant wait till Francis is traded, so I can bring back my JVg fault thread and when the rockets still cant score I can shove it down peoples throats that I was right all along. I fail to understand how tradeing an offensive weapon like cat or francis will all of a sudden "increase scoring". Doesnt make sense. If anything you will lose scoring punch and be even more boring.
