Ugh hopefully they go vote and volunteer to turnout more voters. Off year elections have terrible turnout as is. Texas in particular has some ballot issues this year that deserve attention. Prop 2 in particular is a license for banks to charge you all kinds of fees on home equity loans. And its deceptively written to imply that its actually instituting a lower cap on fees than exists today.

That turnout looks pretty low. I guess it's good that most people are actually sane about it, but at the same time I'm a bit disappointed that the turnout wasn't bigger.
