Ohhh you’re talking about when we were forced to open the roof during our last World Series? Please tell me that’s still not a thing!

The truth is last night's win was a powerful confidence booster for the Astros. They believed in each other and found ways to get hits off their bullpen. That is a HUGE in a series. Secondly, the Astros are due to break out of a team slump at the plate. They haven't looked as dominant offensively since the ALDS. This is going to be a very long hard fought series...and it is wide open series.

If the Stros fate hinges on whether the roof is open or closed we're in trouble. Last night proved we don't need a roof to win.

I can't imagine Manfred wanting to risk that kind of bad PR given what Houston has been through this year.

MMP during the postseason with that roof closed is an absolute madhouse.

I feel like last night will be the night the Astros broke there slump. Dodgers should be worried.

Hopefully luck will favor us at home. Dodgers have been getting pretty lucky with their HR's. It would have been such a gut punch to lose after getting 9 more hits than them.

Dude every single one of your posts either insults our city, or our sports teams. You are a b****. You say you don't like Houston. You say all Houston sports teams suck. Why are you here? This site is for Houston sports fans, not dickless yankees

Darvish will wish he didn't pitch.

All year the Dodgers have been pulling wins out of their ass. Seems like everything always goes their way. BUT NOT TONIGHT!

What a crazy win. Hopefully we stay hot at home. Great to see Marwin and George get homers. Crazy that it took the most insane Astros ever to beat this team, especially when they only got 5 hits lol. Hopefully they start coming back down to earth in Houston. Gonna be tough against Darvish.

I still can't get over that game last night. I was so caught up that I forgot to extend the DVR when it went to extra innings. I remembered before the 11th though, so I did catch the end. It was exhausted when it was over but too wound up to go to bed. I love when games have that effect. It was totally amazing.

I know the heroes were Springer, Altuve, Correa etc. But Bregman deserves a lot of praise for his play this series.

I went ahead and put nono on ignore-nore

Astros offense is really scary. I'm just gonna chalk it down to horrible pitching though and bad management. Friday will be amazing. I haven't enjoyed a sports game like Game 2 in the last 4-5 years. I was on the edge of the seat the whole time. I was really euphoric on that Bellinger hit which unfortunately ended up being caught. It looked so well hit too unlike Seager's homerun which looked nothing amazing off the bat but managed to carry.

What purpose does it serve to go into a forum dedicated to sports fans of a particular city and troll that city's sports franchises? Do you seriously have nothing else better to do with your time than this? It's pathetic.

Shoot... that ball bouncing off the bill of the cap was as lucky as it gets.

They (postgame on FS1) were talking about how good Darvish has been in Houston since he came into the league. I haven't done the research yet but I wonder how much of that was when the Astros were losing 100 games back in 2012 and 2013. I feel like recently (say 2015 on after Correa came up), the Astros played much better against him.

Same here on both accounts. Still reeling. I won't lie; I was checking the online MLB live update in between Splatoon matches, so about every 5 minutes. So I was aware that there was a comeback brewing, and then it finishing brewing, and then extra innings and that subsequent craziness. And I was tempted to turn it back on, but I said "a) my heart and brain can't handle this especially if they still end up losing, and b) every time I'm not watching they do well. While it's entirely illogical and superstitious, I'm not even going to have the live update tab open unless I'm doing a quick check on it."

My dad missed the entire game, and I turned it off for my mom at the same time I turned it off, so I'm currently downloading the game, so we can watch the 7th inning onward over the next two days.

He's probably one of those guys you see at Washington who doesn't have a great job and is living above his means in midtown who goes out to get laid every weekend unsuccessfully. He probably blames all of his failures on the city, not his relentless incompetence or his putrid social skills.
