Tierre Brown and Terrence Morris have done well in their first two NBDL games this year. Neither of their teams have won a game however.

Troy Murphy, Steve Nash (definitely not in the top two options on his team ;) ), Ben Wallace (see note for Nash), Caron Butler, Brian Grant, Kurt Thomas, Carlos Boozer, and Bobby Jackson.

    They are just solid all-around.
I surely hope they make the all-star team.

Did you mean Brent Barry? Because Jon Barry plays for the Nuggets.

Probably doesn’t qualify as a role player, even though he’s being used like one right now: Antawn Jamison

Jamison for Cato and J.Jackson perhaps?

Mavs need some size and some defense. Rox desperately need some scoring.

I disagree. Jason Williams is a great PG. Always was and always will be. (His creativity was saddled by the un-imaginative Sacramento offense -- an offense too afraid to embrace what sober Spring Break co-eds and horny party bois already knew: when it comes to handling the ball, Jason Williams is tops.)

A JW, SF backcourt would be destroyed by taller guards. As much as I would love to see JW play for the Rockets, Houston needs an athletic SF -- maybe someone who can run around and block a fade-away by a 7'5" center.

Most players mentioned are great, but I got one to add.

    Tyronn Lue
    - remember this kid from the Lakers-Sixers finals series a few yrs ago? Remember his D on AI? I think he's playing in Orlando now. He hustles, plays great D. I think he'd fit into JVGs system real well actually. Don't think we'll get him, tho.

Kurt Thomas, PJ Brown, Brent Barry, and Eric Snow would all be incredible fits on this team.

If I were to pick one, I would definitely pick Thomas. He's everything the Rockets need at PF and he would allow us to once again have the best backup center in the league. Thomas can hit the 'J' out to 18, rebound, and defend any PF in the league. He also brings that same mean streak that Cato does.

one guy I want us to get, no one has mentioned yet... Chauncy from Detroit. The guy is a tough 1/2 who can handle and pass. Smart guard, whichever he is playing.
