Plus it happened to our very own Astros. That's why it's so special. ****ing surreal feeling, man.

22.7% of all World Series extra-inning HRs occurred in this game. Think about that...

The bounce off the bill of the hat, the ball of Puig's glove, the throwback to 2nd that hit the umpire, Verlander coming into the dugout to rally the troops. Etc. So many little things that could've completely changed this game.

That final AB to Puig was the most intense at bat ever.

Best thing was.... nobody in the nation even knows what club astros is. They celebrate better than anyone else. I love this team.

Equivalent to 94-95 Rockets if they win this.

As a former English teacher who had 2 students with major stuttering problems, Springer has come a long way, apparently, and does an amazing job in these interviews. He does the silent 1-2-3 count when he needs to and does terrific considering the intense pressure/spotlight he's under. Props to him.

The most amazing part about this game is that they won.

    It’s like bizarro world.

Houston teams are supposed to lose these types of games.

Please please please let the party continue.

Interviewer: If you could tell one thing to Astros fans right now, what would you say?

Devenski: I would say I love em

    Perfect answer

This win qualifies this as the greatest Astros team ever. It's been a long time coming.

i was there for the first 19 innings on April 15, 1968; there was drama then, but not like this.

Don't forget Skippy, who thought he tied the game in the bottom of the 11th. That was unintentional comedy!

Game 7 in the World Series last year was pretty damn good in its own right. Especially since it decided the title. The rain delay did undermine it a bit though.

As for the Stros' best games ever, this is #1 and the 18-inning win over the Braves in 2005 is a close 2nd.

I like blowouts more, but the power surge, timing, and stage easily makes last night the greatest.

Every now and then a Houston team turns the tables. The 95 Rockets won I don't know how many games they had no business winning in that playoff run. The 2015 Rockets in Game 6 vs the Clippers. T-Mac's 13 in 35(even though that was only a regular season game). And of course, the 18-inning classic against the Braves in 2005. Weren't they down something like 6-1 in the 8th?
