If Eminem is racist, it shouldn't be hard to find more proof than dropping the n-bomb in an obscure rap song ten years ago.
QUESTION: Does time truly heal all wounds? Is it ok that he did it 10 yrs as oppose to 10 minutes? Why does the timing matter? Rocket River
No, but a lot can change in 10 years. He was upset about a relationship breaking up and decided to slam her in a song. If he were going to be cricified for it, it should have been then, not now.
ORGINALLY POSTED BY ME it would be pretty hard to label a white guy who grew up in hip hop culture before it was popular among white people a racist since that would mean a white person would have to be around black people a lot
when i said he had to be around black people a lot that was a euphemism for black folx just in case you missed me saying that. lol...i love how you brought innocent OJ into it. no i didn't expect him to say that because why would he say that if he was dating a black girl at the time? if he hated those black folx so much then why would he choose to be around them and date those kinds of colored folx. you're trying to make it out as if he is some sort of closet racist. Hey didn't Benzino bust on Em because he is white? i mean he said that in one of his mix tapes, and benzino said the black and white thing is in the past. and didn't Ja Rule bust on Em too because he is white? how come those guys aren't gonna be labeled racists either? oh wait...its ok for anyone other than a white person to have racist tendencies...i forgot thats how america works. i'm not trying to play the victim...i'm just trying to play some devils advocate. it's not as if he goes around dropping n-bombs left and right. have you ever made a racist comment about white people or any kind of people before in your past? just because you have it doesn't make you a racist, especially if you say something out of anger and it was 10 years ago and there has been no other indication in your behavior that you are a racist.
i would certainly hope time would heal wounds....you can't go on and on crying about things forever or else you will get nowhere in life. if i wouldn't have gotten over crap i went thru then i would have killed myself by now, so yes time does he all wounds that you want it to heal, if you don't want things to get better then they never will. timing matters in this situation because he said those things 10 years ago and there has be no indication that he has been a racist or had racist tendencies since he wrote that song about his ex-gf.
no . . it is interesting at best ACTUALLY the question came from a HYPOTHETICAL I asked some friends Dealing with . . IF YOU FOUND OUT YOUR SPOUSE CHEATED 20 YRS ago would u leave them. . . . .. Overwhelmingly folx said no they would not HOWEVER If they had cheat a year ago . .. they say they would I concluded it was best to keep a lie [or bad comment] under raps [excuse the pun] as long as possible. . . . In most cases. . . COMING CLEAN IS NOT THEY WAY TO GO Best to just WAIT IT OUT Rocket River interesting but true
nope It means someone made a racist comment it only POTENTIALLY indicates one was a RACIST at one point but that requires more evidence Rocket river
word on the street is Benzo is Half white [or of mixed heritage] Ja Rule sux Actually it is pretty weak to throw the WHITE card on eminimen I may say . . he more popular because he white but saying he WACK because he white is . .well WACK [I'm not his biggest fan . .. only songs I like are STAN and ONE MOMENT[?] not with all the tom foolery of some of his more popular sh*t] but back on topic I'm not big on JA or Benzino either Rocket River
Hilarious! A white magazine owner and half white/half black magazine owner are cracking on Eminem and calling him racist because he was pissed off and said some racially sensitive $hit 10 years ago. Oh, and he allegedly used "the n word" in a song. Am I a racist because I speak the word "*****" when I am driving down the road singing along with a rap song that includes the word? Give me a break. I thought clowns like Ja Rule and the Murder Inc crew were lame for doggin on Eminem for being white and talking trash about his daughter. These guys just joined that circus.
he didnt allegedly use it...he did use it and he did make racist comments against his ex-gf calling her a ni..er and said how black girls suck but white girls where good girls. my opinion about it has already been stated.
Re-read the article. There are 2 songs: 1 where he said something like: "Black girls are dumb, and white girls are good chicks." He did not deny that. "There also is another brief song in which a rapper, who the Source says is Eminem, uses the n-word." "Regarding the n-word, Eminem's publicist, Dennis Dennehy, told The Associated Press on Thursday: "We haven't heard the first tape and can't confirm whether it's him." Until it is confirmed, he allegedly said it.
