it only took him 3 straight seasons of superstar minutes to get hurt. who the **** is this guy and who the **** are th coaches plaing him so much?
remember, we played 20-24mpg of 3-guard lineups last year, so I don't think PJ a Moute need to get all the SF minutes...while certainly possible, the fact Moute is starting means it will be hard to stagger his minutes with Rynos, so they are likely resting together some during the game. I suspect we will fall back onto our 3-guard lineups to spell the short SF position. Although not great, I think Jackson will be fine playing a Bev 3-guard lineup role chasing Redick, Fultz or Covington. With Paul, the 3-guard lineups are certainly what spells injuries like this to SF or PF....meaning we practice these lineups for sure...just like last year.
When it rains, it pours. The Rockets need to buckle down and weather the storm, because the schedule gets tougher in December. Need some easy wins now, health or no health.

Center Nene is doubtful with a left Achilles injury, though Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni spoke of playing without him as if there is no chance he could be back to play in Philadelphia on Wednesday. Guard Chris Paul is out with a bruised left knee. "Last year was pretty smooth sailing, a little smoother than a (typical) season," D'Antoni said. "This year, we have some rough spots. We have some injuries to deal with. We got some play to work out. But we'll battle through this and get back on track." The Rockets initially considered Ariza day-to-day, but believed they would know more about a timetable after his examinations on Tuesday. "He's getting it checked," D'Antoni said. "It's sore. I don't think there's anything structurally wrong. Now, it's just a matter of how much tissue damage there is. I don't know." With Ariza out, Luc Mbah a Moute will start at small forward. Tarik Black will replace Nene as the backup center in a stretch in which the Rockets face several of the sort of physical centers – Joel Embiid (twice), Dwight Howard and Marc Gasol – that the Rockets usually rely on Nene to defend. "It's a tough time any time with Nene because Nene has been playing really well," D'Antoni said. "I hate it for him. That's why Tarik is here. I know Tarik will step up and do it. This is going to happen periodically through the year and Clint will have to play a bigger role. We still have the resources to get it done. We just have to get it done."
this is why i would have preferred signing willie reed for the minimum instead of nene. great guy, but you can never depend on his body. and with the money saved we could have had a legit 4th guard the past month as well.
