Is Memphis the west's sleeper team?

I don't know what the deal with PHX is, but I wouldn't count them out. There is lots of talent there. Starbury, J.Johnson, Amare, Matrix are all legit. Jake "I was in the Double Clutch video" Voksul, Jahidi and Scot Williams are serviceable three-headed monster at C. Penny was a big help last year, but he's struggling right now. Franky Johnson is a bit suspect as a head coach, though...

Seattle will struggle. They are basically a bunch of jump shooters, and as the season progresses and the legs get tired, they'll go down. Remember last year when they started 8-0 and then went south from there...

Denver and Memphis look like 9th and 10th spots right now and if any of the teams that are supposed to make the playoffs (LAL, DAL, SAS, MIN, SAC, PHO, HOU, POR) blows it off, both teams have a shot. Denevr is winning games without Nene, which is remarkable. Bzdelik is doing a great job.

    Memphis 93, Portland 79
    Wells’ Grizzlies Roll Past Blazers

Win FIFTH straight... with win over Portland (just before we beat 'em)

Next six vs. Atlanta, @ Miami, New Jersey, @ San Antonio, Sacramento, Miami.

They're still rollin' ya'll. Posey and Bonzi work well together.

    Man the division is strong!
