Trump, Pence, and republicans continue war on women

To be fair, DFW is the belt buckle of the Bible Belt. I work with a guy who goes to a church that practices "biblical discipline" or some such. They confront members of the congregation that are sinning and ask them to stop, then censure them and lastly "ex-communicate" them if they don't cease and desist. Looney moral stories like riding in the backseat abound in the DF-dub.

Naw. We are perfectly capable of thinking Weinstein is a scum bag who should be in jail and also thinking the two most powerful men in office, Trump and Pence, are still waging a war on women’s rights.

Between taking away essential things such as birth control being able to be covered by insurance (which helps against unwanted pregnancy, and abortions) to the President being accused by 15 women of sexual assault and bragging about it on tape, I’m perfectly capable of thinking Weinstein is a scum bag and thinking Trump/Pence are waging war on women’s rights (and also scum bags).

 

I find it hilarious that today's conservatives are using Harvey Weinstein's story to push their message. It's almost comical. If you didn't know that this type of disgusting stuff was going on in hollywood you're an idiot. If you think it stops there you're even more of an idiot, countless more versions of him there

Point is, (what is probably) the majority of a republican news channel preaching family values but spends the majority of its time harassing women, sending dick pics, and running it like a playboy mansion isn't the same situation. Hell the POTUS bragged about using his power Weinstein style on camera.

But please.. bump an old thread to post something like that to show all of us how desperate you are..

I haven't followed much, but wasn't Weinstein rejected, fired, castrated... ?

While..

Many value voter voted in the 'grab them by the p***y' candidate and ignore all the sexual harassment allegations toward him.

Is this coming from value voters? Are they trying to said you are as bad as we are? You sold your soul too?

Take ownership of your actions. You did sold your soul and you will have to deal with it. Don't look at other actions to excuse your own action.

 

What have Republicans done with the money and aid they've gotten from folks like Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly? I know that some are supporting Bill O'Reilly on his comeback tour.

What have Democrats done? They've donated Weinstein's donations to women's charities and returned it.

 

Hillary Clinton did that? I don't believe that she did.

 

Did she have old campaign money left after these revelations came out? I don't think so. The Democratic party has donated the money to women's charities. What have Republicans done?

 

So Hillary Clinton didn't do any such thing. I didn't think so.

 

And Trump didn't release his slaves, did he? I didn't think so! Trump did no such thing.

Let me know when you are ready to make a point. Or better yet, show that you aren't a two-faced hypocrite and let me know what Republicans are doing about their fundraiser sexual harassers other than attend Bill O'Reilly come-back tours.

Or is it that you only care what left-leaning sexual harassers have done wrong, but care nothing when the sexual harassers are right-leaning?

 

I don’t know if these are all women’s charities but she is, in fact, donating Weinstein’s political contributions to charity.

Harvey Weinstein has also made large contributions to the Clinton Foundation which so far they have refused to return.

 

I don’t really understand what Mojo is trying to accomplish here. Does he really want to go tit for tat with whose side is the more sexually predatory?

Just shows the double standard that liberals shouldn’t give the time of day to. Of course Hillary giving back just some of the donations from a sexual predator who donated to her and denouncing his actions over and over for days less morally high than the actual president.... being an actual sexual predator who nobody has denounced and still support like he’s the second coming of Jesus.

You will never find an end to the fight for the moral high ground they think they are on despite the fact that they are swimming in hypocrisy in the sewer of moral grounding.

As long as you go to church on Sunday though right .... oh wait Trump doesn’t attend church (or didn’t attend one day until the national day of prayer )....Crap. I guess if you have never had to ask God for forgiveness you don’t have to go.

Im not really sure what any of you are trying to accomplish here.

 

1. I'm waiting on you to call out the sexual harassment of those on the right, and find the answer to what they've done with contributions by those who committed the horrible offenses to women.

2. Hillary Clinton gave Weinstein money to charities. What did Republicans do with the donations of Bill O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, etc.?

3. Hillary Clinton doesn't get any money from the Clinton Foundation. What you rather be done with the foundation's money than go victims in need of health services?

So far you haven't shown any concern about the wrong Weinstein has done except to try and use it against someone who I don't really care about and has different politics than you have.
