Since I wasn't clear. Only fools care about (and let me be clear) their own or someone else legacy.

These subsidies that are now being phased out were illegal and a misappropriation of funds by the Obama regime. Now we are apparently going to obey the law on this for a change.

People will die, Mojo will call it strict Constitutionalism.

Trump will threaten the media, Mojo will ignore the 1st Amendment.

Nazis will march on Berkeley, Mojo will applaud the 1st Amendment.

Hopefully you don't get denied coverage because of your mental shortcomings.

Seriously, let him destroy ACA and make health insurance collapse. It will force congress to extend medicare to everyone and thus become a de facto single payer system.

I'm fairly certain Bush did quite a few more than Obama ever did.

Plain cop-out. He didn't have to. Congress (the same one that sued for that ruling) urged him not to. He used that as a threat for Congress to do something and once Congress failed, he went with it. He owns it now. Maybe he's betting Congress will now do something. Well, if that's the case, he is betting the whole health insurance market and people lives over it.

I'm sure he will blame Obamacare to the end and I'm sure some folks with eat that up. The buck doesn't stop here.

I mean, it's a horribly inefficient way to deliver care (through backdoor corporate welfare payments from the taxpayer to giant insurance companies)

The big advantage from the government's standpoint is it's less transparent to the individual taxpayer footing the bill.

Elon Musk has a similar business model, he can charge less for cars because he gets a taxpayer payout for each car he sells.

Obamacare needed fixing. Everyone knows that. This is taking a foundation out of it. Irresponsible and extremely risky. But that's Trump as usual. Craziest ideas that been held in check. I guess this was one of them that was okay'ed to move fwd. Wouldn't impact the wealthy and all his cabinet members. For the rest of us (yes, even those on employer group plan), there will be an impact. For the poor, sorry.

Now working class people can go back to being completely unable to afford health insurance. Yay!

There is an easy solution! We just have to not cover sick people with pre-existing condition. The more quickly sick people die, the less our health care cost will be! Prices will fall in a bigly way! Yay!

So your are happy to see these subsidies end and the thousands of people who will die as a result mean nothing to you?

I never understood why you did not value the lives of poor people and babies but you value the lives of the poor and unborn. Never made sense and one reason I don't respect people like you

The Democrat left has worshiped at the alter of single payer, one size fits all, government run and controlled healthcare since, well, Karl Marx.

The thing is, Obamacare is not that. It is some grotesquely misguided Frankensteinish experiment that has failed in full Frankenstein fashion. It is time to put the poor beast down, as like Mary Shelly's creature, Obamacare is out of control and the source of ever-increasing harm, it is reaping havoc on our healthcare system, as it has been for quite a while now. But the Democrats won't allow it to be altered in a direction away from their Marxist aims, because that would be a loss for them personally, not just to their egos but a loss of influence and control. And that they will not abide. Plus, they cannot be seen cooperating with Trump under any circumstances. The Democrats are holding their failed Obamacare monstrosity hostage to these sorts of ridiculous, petty concerns.

I don't pretend to be a big Donald Trump fan, but in this, he does appear to be trying to strike a blow for healthcare freedom. It is good to finally see some progress towards a more healthy, cost effective and workable healthcare system. This does look to be a better path. It is about time.

Without Obamacare everyone's health care premiums will begin to rise again. Including those on employer plans as with increased uninsured patients being treated hospitals pass on the immense costs to the insured.

Those who celebrate the end are celebrating paying more

That’s a fair point, but in addition to the “full cost” we have benefits reductions for cost savings and increased costs for high risk.

Beyond anything this is just a show. The trump doctrine is to overwhelmingly condemn issues and then pass the solution on to someone else. See DACA, Iran, NAFTA, tpp
