Browns have our top two picks next year. Rebuild will take awhile unless we get extremely lucky in free agency and our lower picks
Yep, and all that cap space will go to clowney. We need to hit big on free agency or it'll be a couple years of letting Watson get smashed. We can't do what Indy has done to Luck
I will say this about Watson He doesn't take as many hits as luck he really does know how to avoid contact and get down when he takes off on scrambles. He's a smart player but we really need to get sort out the Dwayne brown issue. Either bring figure out the contract and get him playing or trade him for the best deal you can be it 2nd or 3rd round picks. Watson is a stud though the Texans are in great hands. If our defense QB get some stops on 3rd down we have a legit chance to win that game. I mean we had it as a 6 point game with 12 min to go. We're in good hands, but we really are going to regret not keeping Aj boyua he's a shame changer jjo and Jackson are played out and looking really old.
Yeah, imagining Peterson instead of Johnson and having Bouye gets me a bit aggravated. Hope Johnson can get healthy and someone can step up in the secondary
And you're right with Watson not taking the big hits like Luck, but with all mobile qbs it just takes that one hit in the wrong position and things get bad. I'm still tempered in my excitement for Watson, I want to see it over the course of the season before I can get fully comfortable. Just a jaded Houston fan
It might not be his first choice but running is a part of his game, just like Rodgers, Culpepper, McNabb and many more. It's definitely out of necessity with our O line no doubt, but him being mobile does put him at risk of getting caught in a bad position. Obviously hoping for his health and growth but it is a possibility with a mobile qb
watson is a way more fluid and agile athlete than rg3. rg3 was all speed. watson is way more elusive, slippery, and actually knows how to get down once he gets what he needs, unlike rg3.
Not saying he isn't good, but this game was over by halftime. Bunch of padded stats. He only had about 80 yards when it actually mattered.
Can agree with that, he's like Wilson and Rodgers in the athletic department, not blazing speed but really elusive. Reminds me of Young and Jake Plummer in that way
