Did ESPN/MLBTV forget the Astros played yesterday?

    Not surprising, given that this is the order of when games finished yesterday. You're scrolling through live mini-updates, so of course there will be a lot more for the last game that was on. If the page kept going back to yesterday early afternoon, it would have been all Astros updates since that was the only game on.

    If you want to blame anything, blame MLB's insistence that each game have its own timeslot. No reason they couldn't put 2 on 2 channels at the same time. That's how it was done for many years.

    But I'm assuming they've crunched the numbers and determined that overall eyeballs on screens (thus revenue) is maximized this way.

    ETA: I actually posted this in the wrong thread. It should have gone into the thread b****ing about the game times, not the thread b****ing about the game coverage. My bad.

    Sure, the website coverage is reasonable.

    But for the MLBN signature highlight show (their version of baseball tonight) to not have a single highlight or mention of the Astros game in their nighttime (which goes to AM) coverage was slightly frustrating.

    Even TNT's Inside the NBA shows courtesy highlights of the non-TNT games... which is usually 1 or 2 others/night.

    I don't think Astros offense is other worldly.

    Red Sox picked a bad time to slump.

    Yeah hopefully "slump" continues and all future opponents suddenly slump.

    I've heard praise, but these particular comments downplayed the Astros. Then followed with "Sox are just slumping".
