"Heart of Texas" Facebook Group Created By Russians to Stir Up Hatred in Houston

    HOUSTON -- While Congress investigates whether or not Russians interfered with the 2016 presidential election, there is controversy and confusion in Houston, stemming from The Heart of Texas, a fake Facebook page which originated in St. Petersburg, Russia.

    A Troll Factory called the Internet Research Agency is reportedly behind the page.

    Mustafaa Carroll, executive director of Council on American-Islamic Relations says, "Here we have a foreign entity taking advantage of our domestic unrest, and our prejudices and hatred."

    In 2016, the Stop Islamization of Texas rally outside an Islamic center in downtown Houston, drew protesters to the streets.

    However, no one from the fake group that organized the rally even showed up. On the other hand, protesters with white lives matter shirts, banners, and Confederate flags made their presence known; and so did counter-protesters.

    For Muslims in Houston say, dealing with this kind of thing isn't easy.

    "We have an anti-Muslim climate that's not just organic. It's something that's been manipulated and created by 33 inner core groups and 41 outer core groups who go across this nation, spreading hate and misinformation about Muslims," Carroll stated.

    The more important question is how far have the Russians infiltrated CF?

    I've always suspected that @DaDakota 100K record was fishy; either roids or Russians.

    I know you are joking, but there is one poster on this site who is absolutely working for the Russians beyond any doubt. There is also the person who is pretending to be pgabriel who may or may not be working for the Russians.

    What is 33 inner core groups and 41 outer core groups?

    Whatever that is...

    I thought that these Russian tactics don't work and we shouldn't care about them? Here we have at least two groups showing up. And many more at home watching/reading being angered. All fooled by the Russian that cost basically nothing. Take that and multiple by some factors.... yep, we should do nothing but continue to be fooled.

    pgabriel is definitely the same guy. Remember that "rockets32forlife" or "Harden2Capela" guy who was boosting Trump for blacks, they both probably had a bad reaction to the riots and Chi-raq statistics mixed with some middle-aged or quarter-life crisis stuff. Rocket River used to accuse me of being a fake black poster and called me some Uncle character until he started falsely accusing me of thanking whites for slavery.

    Nope, same guy. The Missouri City comment a while back was definitely him. There's a possibility he's joking or trolling out of boredom, but that's totally him.

    China has always been more interested in stealing our technology. I have to say that they've done an excellent job, something that should have been prevented. Of course, China could be doing something similar to what Russia has been doing, as well, but I haven't seen evidence of it. The evidence of Putin doing so appears to be all over the place. It just took looking for it, which is a hell of a thing. We will discover far more than what went down in Houston. The surface is merely being scratched, in my opinion.

    Well damn.. All those trips I made to Harbin China, being accused of being a PRC apologist, and a "moo goo gai pan" on Clutchfans I haven't been paid squat by the PRC. I guess I should've shilled for the Ruskies instead. :( ;)
