Always wondered if it was about to happen. He had lost weight, but then I think he gained it back before his wife divorced him. He was one of my favorite comics. On a side note, do bad comedians ever die? I can't think of one. They seem to live forever. It's always the hilarious ones that go early, I tell ya...
He was on his show? Seriously? If Matt Thomas ever invited me over for dinner, I'd just ask him to leave the food on the porch and I'll take it home. It's a wonder how Ross Villarreal hasn't died multiple times already.
Not surprised but still it's a sad loss. He was a funny comedian. He was certainly very tough on his body and we all know the saying, "The candle flame that burns twice as bright lasts half as long." RIP.
Saw him at the improv, loved his specials. Got a couple autographed t shirts. Really funny bits and took the time to shake every hand in line. The world is definitely less funny today. Peace out Ralphie, thanks for the laughs!
Uh...Carrot Top, Kathy Griffin, Carlos Mencia, Gallagher, Jeff Dunham, Dane Cook, Margaret Cho, Larry the Cable Guy, Rosie O'Donnell, etc, etc, etc...
My brother is friends with a friend of his and he met him a few times at parties in the Houston area. He always liked him. RIP.
