I love Mooch -- except when he's on the court. I had expected Ford to be IL'ed for Pike's return. However, with Wilkes hitting the 5-game good-bye I can only conclude that Mooch's stay is extended. I'm disappointed. Mooch is #1 on my wish list for fewer minutes (down to none!) on Rox roster.
Mooch is like that old ragged dog that you want to love, but he keeps messing up all over your new carpet. And you know he's not doing it on purpose, so you give him another chance...but then he turns right around and pees all over your shoes. I love the Mooch, but let's keep him outside where he belongs... I'm all for Cat moving to PG while Francis takes a breather, with JJ doing some point forward duties to help him out. Pike returning helps that out. Let's just restrict Moochie to doing fluff interview pieces at halftime and cheering for our boys. That being said...he wasn't really all that bad tonight...
I think Moochie is the WORST player on the Rockets team. The guy have no fundamental, not good at court awareness, can't pass, too small to compete, can't play defense. He is the WEAKEST player on the Rockets' roster in my opinion. If the ROckets want to be even more solid, they need a better PG to back up Steve, my opinion!
