Game 1 and 4 were definitely prime time; I can vividly remember them. Not sure about game 2. Games 3, 5 and 6 were definitely afternoon games.
I don't care too much about the start times (I'm self employed and will gladly watch at the office). I'll be at the fair on Friday, so I'll miss it, but that would be mostly true regardless of start time. I'll be listening though. Just win
anyone know how we would be able to stream the game on the phone for Thursday given that its on MLBN?
MLBN does not stream on the phone through Directv as I just checked... it will stream via the MLB.TV if you have a sub to that .. I don't know if it would be blacked out in Houston or not though
I have to go out to California on Thursday, and may not be able to get to a place that will be showing it on TV. I do have the MLB Network at home. So how does this work being able to stream it on my phone (or iPad)?
DirecTV Now will have it, but do you get access to DirecTV Now if you are a regular DirecTV subscriber? I am thinking not, but maybe I am wrong? I looked on the DirecTV app and MLBN is unfortunately not one of the channels that you can stream live. I think you would need to buy the MLB.TV postseason package otherwise (I believe this is included free if you already had MLB.TV all season long). Once you have the MLB.TV subscription, it looks like you must authenticate through DirecTV in order to watch. http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/subscriptions/index.jsp?product=US
Still not happy over the scheduled day games but I'm really hoping they don't schedule game 3 the same time as the Texans on SNF
Yep. I wonder if they scheduled Thursday’s game in the afternoon because the Patriots are playing at night? I’d settle for a consistent scheduling process vis-a-vis the NFL teams.
Yankees are good tv, I don't mind. I would rather go through Boston, NY, and Los Angels for the series. I am still thanking the heavens that the Rockets got the Knick over the Pacers. That helped out street cred quite a bit.
