I think we should trade Cato and moochie to the nets for Kmart? or maybe som1 else. I donno maybe a 3 team trade. Cato would be damn good in the eastern confrence and give the Nets that extra kick there looking 4. What you guys/grls think? Other trades also open for debat..

I hate K Mart. Takin low blows at a Warrior like Zo. I would rather trade for ZO. Zo would be the enforcer to pair with Yao.

With Zo and Yao on the court, defenses would have to honor both instead of doubling down on Yao. Zo can routinely a 10-12 footer so we could implement a high post low post offense and have Zo pass it down to Yao instead of a guard. Similar to what The Admiral and Duncan had going.

Cato makes around 5M moer than K-Mart.

The Nets DON'T need a C, they have Collins and Williams exactly like last year.

However, they may want to shore up their C position by trading Williams and another player for Cato?

They could just as easily sign Wang Zhi Zhi to be their 3rd string Center.

If we were going to trade Cato, we sure as hell better get a SOLID starter back. I'm pretty sure the Grizz, Suns, Bucks, Heat, Magic, and Wizards (just to name a few) would LOVE to have Cato right about now.

I think we should deal with the Wizards as soon as Stack comes back. Arenas is the point, but they have 2 spots for these 4 players: Stack, Hayes, Dixon, Larry Hughes.

How about Jarvis Hayes, Chris Laettner, and Brendan Haywood for Griffin and Cato?

Nets probably wants a better center than Cato. They are
    contending for a title.

Maybe we could make this deal:

    Houston trades:
PF Maurice Taylor (9.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.7 apg in 22.3 minutes)
PG Moochie Norris (3.2 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 2.4 apg in 14.9 minutes)
    Houston receives:
    C Alonzo Mourning (8.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.7 apg in 17.9 minutes)
    Spare Kidney from Jason Kidd
PF Kenyon Martin (18.4 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 34.0 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +13.4 ppg, +6.5 rpg, and -0.5 apg.

    New Jersey trades:
    C Alonzo Mourning (8.0 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 0.7 apg in 17.9 minutes)
    Spare Kidney from Jason Kidd
PF Kenyon Martin (18.4 ppg, 9.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 34.0 minutes)
    New Jersey receives:
PF Maurice Taylor (9.8 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.7 apg in 6 games)
PG Moochie Norris (3.2 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 2.4 apg in 12 games)
Change in team outlook: -13.4 ppg, -6.5 rpg, and +0.5 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

As long as the spare kidney passes the donor match requirements, this would work like a charm. Our starting lineup:

    PG Francis
    SG Mobley
    C Yao
    SF Jackson
    PF Mourning (w/J-Kidd's kidney)

If Zo doesn't pan out, we could have that kidney removed and inserted into Stevie. Imagine Stevie's moves with J-Kidd's court vision and basketball IQ!

not if you believe all the "realists" around here after we beat NJ.
if you believed them, Kmart being out was the only reason we won.

I'd do that....don't know if it would work salary wise (and I refuse to RealGM it)

K-Mart believes he deserves a Max extension also. No way in hell he deserves that, but there will be a team willing to pay him more than he deserves, more than we would give him anyway, so he'd be here for just this season. Bad trade.

We don't need an offensive-minded PF like KMart. I think we could get someone who gets his boards, blocks, etc. for cheaper.

Then again, we already have Cato grabbing boards, blocking shots, scaring offenses and occasionally dunking 'oops.

I don't see how we'd be improving by getting KMart. That would just be yet another starter who needs the ball in his hands to score points. Lets stick with a workhorse type who doesn't have all-star aspirations and a penchant for hucking up 15-20 shots a game.

It may not be ethical to make light of someone's kidney problem. Learn a lesson from KMart.

From medical point of view, Zo would probablly prefer KMart's kidney because there is a higher chance for a matchup of tissue type than btween Zo and Kidd.

    How about ... everyone ?

We've played mostly Eastern Conf teams and Cato hadn't exactly put the fear into the heart of anyone over there! :)

is this a joke? it has to be...please let it be a joke that someone with that many posts could post something like this. it is generally the people under 5 posts that talk this sort of nonsense, not people over 500 posts.
