Few teams out there are stupid enough to take on Moochie. He's a pretty below average players with an above average contract.

I'd be interested in seeing what some of the possibilities are given the apparent trade exception recieved in the Rice deal, though.

That would be great if we could pull it off, but why would the Wizards want him? They could sign Mark Jackson for only the rest of the year instead and have a real NBA-quality PG without the contract headaches.

IMO, a 2nd round draft choice is still a better option than Moochie! If not for the Rockets lack of a quality backcourt (made weaker by the aforementioned), and the organization's hands being tied with a debt owed to this pea-brain, i'm almost positive that this guy would be out of the league.

You know Christian Laettner has been playing well this year... but Kwame Brown... wow, that one has BUST stamped all over it. Still I don't think Washington would do it... it would look bad for their front office.

First of all, since the color of the sky in my world is blue I don't honestly believe WAS trades for Moochie (as nice a thought that made for a second). At the same time, I don't think they go to Hughes to play PG... PHI and GSW both have tried to make Hughes a PG and failed, and I believe WAS has even given it a shot. Plus, he is finally ratcheted his shooting (especially 3pt shooting) up to respectable levels, so I don't think they want to mess with him at this point.

But since this is a Rockets discussion... maybe a Mooch and Meech package for Kwame and enough cap floatsam to make it all work?:D

WAS has Chris Whitney, Blanks, Dixon and knight.. All four can play PG, why they need Moochie... Moochie's NBA station is Rockets, and no other teams will accept him except their GM wants to get himself fired..

Since when is Moochie the answer to another team's starting PG problems??

Seriously, some of you guys will use any injury as an excuse to post your RealGM skills.

Zo goes down. Cato is the answer!!

Arenas goes down. Moochie is the answer!!

God forbid the day that Shaq goes down. MCILGMA@23 and the rest of the RealGM diehards would be proposing Amaechi to LA threads for the rest of the day.
