Bev had slightly better court vision than AB did and is a lot more careful with the ball, but it is still insufficient IMO for him to get full time ball handling duties. As much as I love Bev, I don't think he will ever be more than another Derek Fisher type PG.

And this whole time I thought it was the Houston system that allowed him to be so good... He had one job, play defense..... Hustle and threes were just an extra and we loved him for it.. With that said I do see him having his best year this season and then quickly fading away like Steve Francis in Orlando....

This is an amazing picture. James Harden is so good, he makes these guys think they are better than they really are.

The list of Ok, terrible, and irrelevant players Harden has elevated to - "His roster is stacked with talent" is astounding. (I love Bev though)

Even if that's true, what you quoted simply said he is working on other types of shots that he'll take in the LA system. Didn't say he was being held back. Clickbait title.

    OP with the editorial title.

    Fake News title

    Click bait title

In no way did he say Rockets held him back, if that's the extent of the quote. Where do you get that from

Exactly. Title is misleading. And the Internet has trained ppl to just go with the title and not even read the quote.

    Fake News title. Click bait

I think it's the exact opposite. He is more valuable to Houston than any other team and Houston makes him better than other team.

Yes, basically the thread title is fake news. Nothing but clickbait really. He's just saying he's working on the parts of his game that we're not required of him in Houston.

I think so. If you check his highlights, most games where he goes off he gets in a rhythm from mid-range taking Dirk-esque shots. When you can only really heat up by shooting three's, which go in 40% of the time, it's hard to get in the going off mind-set.

bev sir your not crafty enough around the rim to finish like other Top 20 PG. he's not used to being a primary pick and roll handler.

He will average 12 and 4

Feel like we sold off Beverly at the perfect time.

I think so too. I understand he wants to work on his game, but I'm not seeing the potential to take it to the next level. And I also see what he's saying about our system limiting certain opportunities. We don't value midrange and step back shots at all, but CP3 loves those shots and takes them in high volume. Something tells me we'll make an exception for him.

I like Bev but if he thinks he has much more offensively, then he is heading the Jerry Lin way. Big head thinking you are way better offensively

At most he is 12-15 PPG player

Bev is 1 half-step offensively better than Rafer Alston.
