Rockets fans, I'm thinking about setting up a streaming radio server that will stream Sports 610 on game days, so out of towners can listens to the game online. But's I'm not sure if this is legal or not if I do it without the permission from Sports 610. Please give me some advice guys.

Well, I'm think use a type of script that similar to the voice chat system, using either activeX or java, so you won't need to use 3rd party software.

You would think that if you arent using it for personal gain or to make money from it you would be ok.

Nope. It violates the whole "express written consent" thing. You can't rebroadcast NBA games, in video, or audio, without their permission. It does not matter if you are doing it for free. NBA Audio League Pass loses money if someone else rebroadcasts it for free. Thats why you can't do it.

I understand it might be "illegal" and probably shouldnt be "associated" with clutchcity but if you kept it on the DL and let only certain people know about it i think you woulndt be caught...but i dunno if its worth that risk....thanks for the thought
