We were down by 11 with over 6 minutes remaining. The Kings starters are heading to the scorer's table. Why did Rudy leave the scrubs in. I know we had lost Mobes and Francis. But I still think we could have fielded a better team than Colson, Langi, Bullard, Kenny, and Los. Normally I do not question Rudy's rotations, but if he think's that those five had a chance against the Kings starters, he needs to switch to water on the sideline. I think we could really have made a game of it in the last 6. How would the NBA like it if the Rockets won in spite of the fix? ------------------ "We messed with the Bull, and we got the horns." -- Larry Brown "quote" from AirBullard.com
They played well against the Sac bench, who in turn played crappy. The only good defense I saw out of that unit was Bullard on Peja. ------------------ "We messed with the Bull, and we got the horns." -- Larry Brown "quote" from AirBullard.com [This message has been edited by Hydra (edited March 21, 2001).]
But when their starters can back in they continued to play just as hot as they did before they sat down. There was simply no stopping them on this night. Better to rest the starters and let the bench get some experience. We do have plenty more important games coming up, especially Seattle. ------------------
Duh, it was those scrubs that brought that 20 point lead down to 10. Why take them out? They did an excellent job. So well, that Sac had to put their starters back in. ------------------
