    Jesus. This thread has seen Burt Steele, Marcellus Wiley, random posters and countless others on twitter become "the know" over the last 4 months. Pages regularly devolve into a smut playground for some of the more special posters. Nothing has changed in this situation from last week or the week before that. Everything gets more difficult for NY after Monday. If anything, they probably like this two press conference setup because they know they can bluff the **** out of everyone as a last gasp. All of the pressure for them begins Monday and you can be assured that Carmelo won't be happy BEHIND closed doors. Whether or not that pushes him to Houston? Who knows? I assume it will. But the fact that it gets dirty and difficult Monday is just fact.

    Knicks said everything that we all wouldve expected them to say. Sports fans are just super emotional.

    He is currently under contract with the knicks and knicks are still trying to do anything possible to help their bargaining position.

    To negotiate well, you have to at least give the impresion that you are willing to walk away from a deal that you know you dont really want.

    Dan Gilbert said the same company line bs about "expecting kyrie to be in camp" earlier too.

    If it doesnt end up happening then so be it but todays news conference with the knicks spouting BS was not a negative sign for us IMO

    Pretty much. Gordon + Ariza gets it done I think. I'd definitely prefer Ryno but I don't think the Rockets can take the Warriors to a full 7 with this current lineup.
