There used to be a time where Eli held back the Giants. Now it's the Giants holding back Eli. O-line trash, no running game, and receivers dropping open passes.
How overrated are the Giants or should OBJ be the highest paid player in football (like he wants)? Ben MuchAdoo(aboutnothing) - Skip
Marshall will gel in, and OBJ will get healthy. O-line is in shambles though. Flowers and Hart are two of the worst in the league at their position. Eli gets the ball out quickly so if McAdoo stops calling long-developing trash plays or stops emphasizing the run when they're down 14, then there's a decent chance they can look better. Really tough schedule though. Not sure how overrated they are though cause I don't really know how they were rated to begin the year. I can see them going into the bye week 0-7. There are no gimmes on their schedule with that o-line. Only "easy" game they have is week 10 @ the 49ers. They could go 2-14 or 1-15 lol. Unlikely, but you never know.
Overrated as in picked to finish 1st or 2nd in the division; Marshall addition, defense, blahblahblahblah.. Something like 12%(?) of teams who start 0-2 made the playoffs. Obviously an uphill climb. Their offense looks terrible. @ Eagles @ Bucs Chargers @ Broncos Seahawks Bye
