    Not sure how good Ball will be, but Mello's ranking seems fair, if not a bit generous to be honest judging by his performance last season.

    Ball ranked 20 spots higher than the last two #1 picks, Simmons and Faultz. All because he got SL MVP for jacking up a bunch of horrible looking shots and getting in some nifty passes.

    Hell, Simmons was ranked like 120 as a rookie. Be curious if Ball just got the highest rookie ranking in years. What did Anthony Davis get ranked as a rookie.

    Alright, Anthony Davis got ranked 62 to Ball's 63. Davis won a national championship; Ball won Summer League MVP. Willing to bet those are the highest rankings for rookies since ESPN started doing this. KAT was ranked 75th.
