Crazy how many minutes we were playing him given his size but we needed him on the court THAT much. The league learned how to get under his skin at times but for the most part, he was unstoppable. Not even a Hack-a-Yao strat could stop this beast.
Happy birthday, big fella! If you could have kept those lower appendages together, you could still be a superstar center playing for the Rockets, instead of a retired Houston superstar. People never appreciated just how good he was at his peak. 25/11/2 in 33 minutes a night on only 17 shots as a 26 year old already battling injuries. Defensively he was very underrated, teams did not drive the lane.
