Let's bring back Matt Maloney... maloney wasn't quick but he had all the heart and shooting ability.

He was like Steve Nash w/ 25 more lbs...and thus..slower.

I've been concerned with Moochie's reduced level of play, but I also remember the anti-Cato stampede. Let's be patient, see what JVG has up his sleeve and then miss and poan about Moochie as a Rocket. I've given the Little Dribbler grief in the past, but that doesn't mean I have given up on him.

While we're still paying him we might as well be playing him ;)

Charlie Ward will join the team in a matter of weeks -- once he's bought out by the Knicks in early December.

The Rockets made a mistake in siging him to a guaranteed contract, but what really urks me is the fact that they continue to give him minutes instead of admit that they made a mistake, sit mooch down, and develop a new player.

Put him on the bench. He might be a highly paid cheerleader, but at least he won't prevent any offensive rhythm with his untimely turnovers.

    Go with Wilks.

Is it coincidence that we haven't been to the playoffs in the last four years....?

I doubt it, but just a thought.

There is a fine line between a "smart ass" and a "DUMB ASS", and you are the latter. ;)

From what i see of Wilks i really like, he doesn't look for his shot and he runs the offense. He is a true point gaurd in that sense, he stays within his game which i wish moochie would do but we have to be honest with ourselves i sit at home and when i see moochie come in i already know there is going to be turnovers stupid plays, and we loose any kind of lead we have had. They just go hand in hand. I think someone like Wilks is what we need when he have go to guys in the game and francis is sitting down, he can bring up the ball, he is quick and gets the ball to right people, JVG should slowly work him in and phase moochie out.

Wilks game reminds me somewhat of Speedy Claxton, except that Speedy can shoot.

From what I've seen of Wilks, he's diseased. It doesn't matter which one plays, because neither one can. It's not an accident that Wilks doesn't sniff the court, even with Moochie playing the way he is.

JVG does know exactly what he's doing. That is a fact IMHO. But I still can't figure out why Moochie is on the floor? The team just doesn't play well with Moochie running the point. Just my two cents.

    Give the kid a shot.

I agree that I would like to at least get a look at Wilks as Moochie has been extremely unproductive.

I was thinking about it the other day and I still can't make up my mind if I liked Matt Maloney or Moochie better. Those were definitely two of the worst decisions made by the Rockets.

I think Wilks will be cut as soon as Piatkowski returns.
