back to the 9th seed and discussing which undersized PF we'd be taking with the 14th overall pick...back to when I had very little hope
But did he open up his house as a shelter? Did his house flood or not? Did he post a video telling he was making a donation? All these are pivotal questions
Not sure what more people in Houston want Harden to do, to show his loyalty and love for Houston and the Rockets..... seriously. There seems to be this belief with some that he is a bad guy or lacks integrity or intelligence. He seems like a pretty good person to me and those that work around him have said the same. He reps Houston and the Rockets anytime he can. He has said he loves the city and the team publically 100's of times. He signed an extension when almost no one else of his level was, he then signed another for the maximum length. He has events in Houston all the time and makes time for things to promote the city like the LS&R. He has been involved in the poorer areas of Houston spend his money and his time (he has gone in person numerous times). He doesn't have any drama. He isn't a criminal. He doesn't have any kids out of wedlock. He is close to his mama. His ex's have nothing bad to say about him. He gets better each year he plays. I just don't get it. The guy WANTS to be a Houston sports legend. He doesn't think he is too good for the city and he choose Houston over the city he grew up in, LA.
People can say whatever they want. I know he isn't the perfect player and he has frustrating times. But I hope he retires a Rocket.
Damn, that's quite a lot. He has actually donated more than Les, relatively speaking. 10M for Les is 0.05% of his net worth 1M for Harden is around ~1% of his net worth
What a great guy. Black men are the most loving giving and forgiving people but they receive endless unjustified hate. Smh
