check out this website, it's a brand new petition to STOP jordan's return www.expage.com/pleasemikeno ------------------ C-son --------------------- Dream on
oh yeah.....well....maybe I didn't make that clear....BECAUSE IT WOULD SUCK!!!!! He will never live up to what he was and he won't "save the league" as he will have to leave someday, also it will prevent our current stars from coming into there own as it will take away the focus from young players, it's just stupid!! The league should deal will real issues that stop fans from giving a f@ck instead of trying to find the quick fix, by adding a declining has-been superstar!!!!!! ------------------ C-son --------------------- Dream on
Does this mean every championship gets an astrict since he left 3 years ago? ------------------ Im too drunk to walk ... Im driving home! [This message has been edited by Space Ghost (edited April 13, 2001).]
I don't think Michael Jordan gives a damn about his legend. My opinion is that the guy is bored, and basketball is the one thing that makes him happy consistently. He wants to play against the best competition, and the NBA is where it's at ("got two turn tables and a microphone"). I just think it will be funny seeing Jordan getting schooled by Kobe and Steve and all these players who have excelled greatly since Jordan left he league. ------------------ President of the Anal Retentive School for Jerks Hey, I wanted to be president of something, and I swear everyone took every other presidential position already.
Even at this age, It won't be Mike being schooled. Sure he'll give up a couple more 30 point games, and bring his career average down a point or so, but if he does come back it will be when he is back in great shape and ready to dominate again. If he can get Chuck to come back with him to play with the Wizards it gives them a starting 5 of- PG-Rip Hamilton SG-MJ SF-Alexander(this is where he has been playing) PF-Chuck C-?-Draft? That is a title contender even if Chuck and Michael are 39. I don't see it happening, but if it does, it might be fun. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
I definitely won't be signing that. I think his return would bring a lot of fans back and they would realize the great game (most of the time) that they're missing. ------------------ www.swirve.com I think my w**** is dead.
Why would we want to stop Michael Jordan from returning? If he wants to return, let him return. It's a free country and all, and he is a former basketball player. ------------------ See the three, be the three.
I don't care if he comes back ... ------------------ They couldn't stop him in the early 90s; now they can't stop him in the 21st century -- Bill Worell on Phoenix defense on Hakeem
So having two washed up superstars is enough to make one of the worst teams in the league an instant title contender? Not a chance. Michael Jordan had a tough time winning his sixth ring with a supporting cast far better than what the wizards have. ------------------
Washed Up?-Where do you get this? MJ can come back and still put up 28, 6 a night. A tough time?-What do you mean by this? Its the title, of course he would have a tough time While the Bulls were of course one of the best teams ever, With MJ, Chuck, Rip, Alexander, and a good center thats a good starting 5 that is much deeper than the Bull's squad. I don't care if you dislike MJ, but I don't think you have any right calling him "Washed up" ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
...or don't i don't really give a damn, I saw it signed it , thought it was interesting....I'll just feck off now..... ------------------ C-son --------------------- Dream on
