Was just thinking that since the Night King marked Bran to get into the 3 eyed raven's area, what if that's what turns Bran into the Night King in the future? The mark eventually consumes him similar to Greyscale, except this can't be cured. I think if that was a direction the show would be taking, there would be some scenes involving Bran's worsening health as more of his limbs get consumed by the mark. So I don't think that'll be a future plot twist but it's sorta plausible at least.

I think the dead dragon is spitting plasma. That's why it's blue and Jamie has a change of heart after his hand is lopped off. He jumped into the pits to save Brienne from a bear. The bear could have killed him and he also prevented her from getting raped. He talked his sister out of brutally killing Queen Tyrell and instead gave her a kind death. So, I wouldn't say that overall he's honorable, but he's reformed himself for sure. He's seen what brutality does to a person having experienced it himself, so now he's doing better like a reformed prisoner. He's been disabled the same way he disabled Bran and both are better for it now in an odd way. The book arc of Jamie is much more convincing. Not to throw the books in your face, but I just did. I don't regret it. I'm a book tosser. I tossed all 5. I can't wait to toss the 6th.

If Theon kills Euron, doesn't he become the leader of the fleet?

If Theon kills Euron, he probably saves Yara in the process. I'd guess that if your (very plausible) scenario happens, Yara would take over the fleet. But just guessing, Theon rescues Yara without killing Euron or taking the fleet. Cersei has no allies right now other than Euron, so I'd think they'd let him live to build up the drama of the post white walker war. Just a guess though. I've been wrong quite often.

They will take Euron's ships but Euron will escape and build a new fleet by the next episode. Naval battle for the finale.

The Iron Borne are simple minded pack animals. Take out the alpha and you become alpha of the pack.

Solid way to end the season.. Great character interactions with Brienne and the Hound, Cersei and Tyrion, and Cersei and Jaime. End scene with the wall coming down was done really well. Zombie Viserion sounded a little like King Ghidorah in the old Godzilla movies..and he shot out the Godzilla blue flames.

Book Jaime was like "**** Cercie" 2 seasons ago. This one got here, but far slower.

I believe this may have been mentioned before, but I think by the end, all the supernatural elements of the series will be gone (except perhaps Jon, Dany, and Beric), thus fading to myth. This includes the dragons, the white walkers, the dead army, Bran, Melisandre, etc. I can envision the predictable "post-credits" scene in the series finale where someone in the future is singing the "Song of Fire and Ice."

As for Tyrion, we did NOT see the end of his conversation with Cersei, so we don't know what he promised her to get her back to the meeting. That look at the end of the episode could mean that Tyrion promised something to Cersei that spells dire results for Jon and Dany. (And of course, he doesn't know that Cersei doesn't intend to send troops.)

The show needed Theon to become a mini leader again.

Yara was just a stepping stone on his way.

Theon has to become a 'man'. Can't be playing Reek the whole Season.

I like that. A fair fight on the water? We haven't seen that yet. Could be very cool.

If everyone's aunt was the same age as them and looked like Emilia Clarke, there would be a lot more incest going around.
