Many co-ops/apts/condos in NY don't allow satellites either. I originally wanted a satellite but was told I could not. Lucky for me, I am able to receive Time Warner, which offers NBALP and NBATV.

I am in the Brazos Valley (CS) and if they drop ESPN there is no point in having COX cable. Seriously, there is no freakin point.

Thanks to ESPN I get to see atleast 1 Rocket's game a week....which isn't going to be true the next couple of weeks since the Rockets are only on FSSW for 1 game and ABC for another. (Just two freakin games in December....that sucks)

    Oh Yeah,

Speaking of COX, has anyone from College Station heard anything new about COX picking up Rocket's games on Ch.15?

Not only is cable viewership down, but ALL TV viewership is down.

The easy access to internet, video games, and DVD's as well as other forms of entertainment in the last few years has hurt Television as a whole.

Yeah, you can point to those excuses, but we all know that it's got to be illegal downloading that's killing television viewership. Nobody just quits consuming something. They've got to be stealing it somehow.

Most of Austin is serviced by Time Warner Cable, luckily.
