    Another band is forming around Bay City and heading towards Houston in the next 45 minutes.

    tornado warning just issued for my area. Anyone around the galleria area be safe.

    Jesus. I'm in clear lake, Im not sure what I'm supposed to do here. I can take hwy 3 but they are surrounded by water, really need boat, or a ****ing helicopter. Anyone have a a flat bottom in this area?

    I'm hearing that several friends including one that still lives on he street that I grew up on are flooded. Really feel for all of y'all dealign with this in Houston and I just made a donation to the Red Cross and am encouraging others to do so too. Wish I could do more..

    I live on the second floor of an apartment, so this whole thing really isn't bothering me too much personally.

    But it must be misery for you home owners, I could only imagine the helpless feeling watching the water level creep up.

    Be careful. Call the non-emergency police number if you need to get out. 911 IF you must. Lot of rescues going on, so it may be awhile. Best thing is just hang out if you can and are safe.

    I think he was trying to figure out how he could get to Dickinson to help the old folks home. But agree w' your advice.

    No I'm fine, I was thinking about heading down towards the nursing home but need a flat bottom or jet skis. Hopeless feeling. Anyone in clear lake have the equipment, I'll provide some man power it's an emergency

    About an hour ago the rain finally let up in la Porte. The water is almost all in the drain. Amazing it was less than a foot from my front door. Hard to be happy when it seems 9 out of 10 neighbors are devasted.

    I really feel for those in Pearland that are stuck. My dad and I are working on trying to grab some relatives from there in a John boat but can't get it to start.

    It feels weird that I'm relieved the water went down but there is still more coming. I feel so bad for you that feel trapped, I was there a few hours ago and it's an awful feeling
