Do the Rockets know that Moochie is off to greener pastures next year and they need to lock up a backup point guard? Colson would be easy to sign next year since we already have him for the remainder of the season. They might be worried another team would sign him over the summer if they didn't keep him occupied. Or is it because of the reason they stated publicly. They don't want to have to play Moochie or Cuttino out of position in the event one of our four guards are injured. Moochie's not going anywhere. They resigned Colson because they wanted practices to remain competitive, and with Mooch's reoccuring injury, they didn't want to push him. From what Rudy has publicly said, Colson has earned it. ------------------
