    50 homes damaged overnight.

Those of you wondering if this is over...it's likely just getting started. If the storm does what many projections have showed, Harvey is going to turn towards Houston and sit on us for a few days.
That intersection at 242/I45 is always under water. It's Timber Lakes/Timber Ridge and the communities along Spring Creek that are in danger if Harvey hangs around.

Weather bimbo on Austin TV just informed the Hill Country that we are far enough from the coast that the storm surge shouldn't affect us.

A lot of my wife's family lives in Inez and Edna, which took a glancing hit last night. Other than a few barn doors missing and some rain blown under the front door, it seems as though everyone escaped without major damage. They are watching the flooding situation just like everyone else (and they are still in TS level winds), but we think they made it just fine. The condos we visit in Rockport on the other hand.......

If you have Verizon, Data usage is on them until 9/6 due to the weather. Affected areas only. All of Houston.

Can we expect any worse than what happened last night in Houston/Sugar Land or nah? Was last night just the beginning and this thing is about to get 10x worse?

The worst for Houston has been forecast to be starting tonight through Tuesday. Just a matter of where those heavy training rain bands set up.

Well according to weather channel right now, they say it looks like things will really intensify tonight and all of the Houston area and basically SE Texas will be under heavy storms through tomorrow morning.

Looks like things will pick up again at 7 p.m. and go for the next 24 hours.

Try and have everything you need to do wrapped up by then
