    Wow Carl, you're smarter than that.

    The Cavs just traded a 25 year old young, championship point guard for an aging undersized point guard who wants to get PAID. Don't forget his hip injury which Brad Stevens admitted himself that he didn't know when IT would be ready to go.

    Boston wins this trade. Cavs may be able to still be strong next year with the addition of Crowder as well, but Boston is going to run the east for years to come.

    His was a lateral move for the future. Kyrie was likely leaving and Thomas stated he wanted the max. Celtics got a better player worth the max, and Cleveland got a similarly skilled player that probably won't try and bounce next season, granted he gets paid.

    They're definitely no better with this trade, imo.

    Boston was likely going to run the east anyways before this trade. Kyrie is a little better, not significantly better. And he's had his own share of injuries. Celtics got a little better, Cavs stayed about the same -- though, again, long term Cetics win.

    Bullshi, before kyrie bailed everythig was fine. Now lebron wont extend beyond next year and with IT in a contract year as well, why would melo want to go there if theres a good chance he ends up being the only one left after next season? There is a good chance the warriors repeat and lebron bails.

    Gilbert drafted Anthony Bennett with the number one pick in the draft. He may be lucky that Lebron was born a few mile outside of Cleveland, but he is not "better" than anyone.
