SilverandBlackFan, are you by chance one of the Spurs game announcers? Homer #1 or Homer #2?

Oh how we seem to have so little faith. What do the Rockets have to do? We just came back from 20 down against the best team in the NBA. Kings are a good shooting team, so we need to beat them the way we beat the Spurs-- don't allow the 3's. Rotate. Don't let the crowd get involved and emotional. Keep the crowd out of the game, keep them out of the fast break, and don't give them the open 3's. Make them give it to Webber like SA gave it to Duncan and lets hope Cato/Mo can work their ass off defending again. Guys, right now we are one of the best teams in the NBA. We really are. The Kings are playing great, and they are at home, but you gotta believe. We definitely have a great shot at winning this game.

I agree that the way to beat the Kings is to force the ball to J. Williams (the most over rated PG I have ever seen), and let him try to beat you over the top. They have so many weapons! We need to establish a low post game as well, and force Webber to play defense. Mo T needs to not only have a good first quarter, but he needs to be aggressive the entire game.

Have you ever seen Peja play he pushes the ball up court more than any other SF in the league. Thats no ****. He likes to run.
    He is an unbelievable player.

I say we Double down on Webber but let Shandon Face guard Peja the whole game.

But I say we have to double down every time the Kings go to the paint we have to own the paint o win this game. Make them beat us from the perimeter except Peja.

    Double double double

every time make them pass it out.

clog the lanes and stay for rebounds dont run the ball either.

This game has to be one by defense and rebounding.
Because if we even try to run and gun them they will kill us.

    Lets do this.

Remember the movie "Celtic Pride" how they kidnapped the other teams best player.I think we should do that to Webber. We should all fly to Sacremento get him why he's clubin.j/k,but that would work.

Good idea, but isnt that why he wants to leave Sac?? He is bored with it there. TAKE HIM CLUBBING in sacramento, then bring him to H-town and show him a real city with real clubs!

This strategy would work as long as our players stay out of foul trouble. My only concern is that most of our big men who are healthy right now are very foul prone. Mo and Cato can't seem to stay on the floor (although Cato really showed that he can last game, let's hope for more of that).

If Mo and Cato could both play the kind of defense that was played on Tim Duncan at the Spurs game, then yes, I say don't double team.

But as soon as our guys start getting in foul trouble, double every time, but do it off of JWill, and not Peja.

Mo will be the key to victory. If he is a baller he will show Htown fans that they need to look no further than him next year. All the talk about the Rox getting CWebb could make him play harder on D as well as O. We need Mo to get at least 25pts & 15r

Cato is the key to this game .It will be tough for him, because Vlade just jumps into players and gets the whistle

Him staying out of foul trouble will be HUGE

I know for a fact that Rudy and company have been working with him on his defensive technique

During the Spurs game Rudy and company were motioning and yelling to him to keep his hands up, and just contest the shot. We all saw that Cato played good D against Duncan, and hopefully he can keep it up.

Another big factor will be not letting Chris Webber get good post position on the blocks. Mo is not that great at playing his man before he gets the ball, and he's gonna have to be tommorow.

I say we try and make J-Will beat us. Stick Shandon on Peja, leave Cat on Christie, and double Webber w/ Francis. I want to make Williams try and beat us from the 3-point line, especially late in the game. He can really only shoot them well when he gets hot, or "in the zone". As long as he doesn't get hot, he won't kill us. And if Mo cannot contain CWebb, then Cato needs to guard him. We do not want Webber to beat us...anyone but him or Peja. Another important thing will be getting back on defense. They like to run, and this gets the crowd in it, so it needs to be limited.

The Only way to Beat Sacramento is Shoot the 3 all night long , Give 'em a taste of their own medicine . Stojakovic , Williams and Barry can start hitting threes at will , C-Webb is gonna be C-Webb , Jason Williams plays piss-poor defense though so I look for Francis to take it the rack often in the first half . Cuttino will need help against Doug Christie who plays stellar D .

I imagine Mo may be encouraged to play aggressively on Webber, if nothing else, because he knows Webber coming here might hurt his chances at resigning with the Rockets for an amount he'd prefer.

The Rockets can't come in too cocky from Saturday's win. They have to still feel like major underdogs. If the Kings underestimate them, the Rockets will pound them.

I say don't double on Webber and just shut down the rest of the team. Play Sac the same way we played SA, because they really have similar teams, imho.

Mo Better get a crap load of rebounds tonight , Cause I've got him on 3play tonight and also The Kings are a horrible offensive rebounding team .
