What's the big deal with 24? I have friends that love the show but I just don't get it. I tried to watch last night's episode but still couldn't get into it. I'm not saying that it is a bad show or anything like that because I haven't seen a majority of the episodes but why is it so entertaining? What gets you all hooked to it?

It's on BBC America on Thursdays (2 episodes) from 2pm-3pm est and 3pm-4pm est.

Jonathan Creek was written by David Renwick a man well known for his writing skills. He has written five seasons of One Foot In The Grave, a comedy which has won him more awards than he's had hot dinners! As well as more serious television drama in the shape of Poirot.
Thus Jonathan Creek is a melding of the two, mostly murder mystery but with a bit of comedy thrown in!
