OK, I'm trying to submit something over a phone modem but cannot. I have the modem hooked up and the program and computer both recognize my modem and know it is there but when I try to dial up the whole thing fails. I printed out what the program said the problem was. Here is exactly what it says: Starting Submission Process. Getting submission options. Sending/Receiving interactive transactionsin progress. 2003/11/18 15:55:34 submethod [INT] phone [99-1866-***-****] Initializing the modem. Please wait..... Dialing the host at 9600... Modem is not on. Failed to initialize modem. What the heck does that mean, modem not on? I have it plugged up correctly and everything. What's the dealio?
