Alot of us want Melo here in Houston, but alot of these moves look like moves that will enable Ny to just sit Melo in a corner. Alot of things don't make sense right now for Ny to just hold on to him but again, nothing about the Knicks ever makes sense. I wouldn't look too much into these NY roster moves just yet. We may not like what Joshua and some others are saying but it isn't like these guys are in charge of the trades or what will make or break the trades. They just state what they hear whether we like them or not. Let's all be patient and see if Tuesday 5:45 comes around.

Listen. Yes I get it. I'm pessimistic. I like posting on this site. All that's being posted is Melo this and Melo that so obviously I'm going to give my opinion on the matter. I don't think that's too ridiculous. I don't go saying "you r****d Melo isn't coming" or other name calling or rude comments (for the most part, I'm sure in the past I've written something that wasn't necessary out of frustration).
I just strongly believe it's ridiculous given the situation and after all that's happened to think he's coming here now. So one says he is, I'll say he's not

We probably are keeping him, but I disagree with the can't part. He's the only one in the rotation besides Ryno that we can afford to lose. We can't lose Ego, don't have someone decent to replace him and we need his shooting. Ariza's loss would be offset a little by PJ and Luc, and even Harden sliding over when EG and CP share the backcourt. Can't lose Capela, no big man we have does what he does. Unfortunately Ariza's contract isn't that big, and there are definitely some teams that would covet him, but those teams probably want to contend and therefore won't have much assets to flip, so I don't think adding him to the fold makes a certain trade work.
