Why isn't Harden a good person?

I just don't understand what the premise of this thread is based.

Literally nothing wrong with going to the club.

It seems like the OP is trying to project his own sense of being a "better" person on Harden

Personally, I think helping girls pay their way through college is a very classy and charitable thing to do. :p

Breaking: Rockets only willing to part with Anderson for Jesus. Heaven pausing trade talks at the moment. Cleveland in hot pursuit.

I'm down with making fun of OPs but let's not get totally carried away.

Harden's clubbing becomes a problem when it happens the night before games. Or during the playoffs at all. His character becomes a problem when he simply chooses not to give effort in a game.

If you've signed one of the largest contracts in history, I think it's fair for fans to level some tough expectations at you.

During the off-season is when I truly don't care.

I heard Harden cuts in line trying to get on 610 from 59 like way too late. This is why he turns the ball over so much.

so you think harden shouldn't have gone clubbing or didn't have enough effort is the reason why rockets was only 3rd seed last season and didn't get past the 2nd seeded spurs?

or is it because he was the only star on the team?

So do you agree or disagree with my statement? We don't need to get off on a giant tangent.

I think Nene's injury is the reason we don't get past the Spurs, but Harden's effort is the reason we don't get to game 7 (in either game 5, or 6, take your pick). And yes, I don't think Harden should go clubbing during the playoffs. Sue me?

why so defensive I just want to understand why you solely blame harden for the loss

so nene was injured and harden had to defend the spurs bigs right?

and no one else had the consistent ability to create plays and shots like harden and the shooters weren't making shots at the rate they needed to to win the game right?

just want to make sure you're not equating lack of superstars playing with him/being the sole superstar to carry the team thru the season and playoffs then running out of gas and help = lack of effort

What is it that you truly think is wrong with Harden as a person to warrant such a thread? I'm being serious.

Me thinks you're looking for a tempest in a teapot.

This is what I'm saying! I'm not dogging him for partying but it's a time and a place and before OR after a playoff game, in which you were blown out by 40 points ain't it!

Let's not imagine game 6 against the Spurs didn't happen. We've heard everything from he was on drugs, he was out the night before to he was paid off....none of which is good! Basically, he got his ASS HANDED TO HIM!

I'm down with him, because he's a Rocket but to be a face of a franchise, he has to show more!

Also if you're a virgin you're a bible thumping loser. This is a lose lose situation you started by throwing stones at someone you perceive to be a 'sinner'.

I'm neither a Virgin or a Bible thumper. Lol! But I do go to church. However, I didn't bring God into the situation.

I just believe that in order to LEAD you have to lead by example. If James or Chris Paul believes in God that's neither here nor there. I just believe that since CP3 is head of the Players Union and the face of a Fortune 500 Company in State Farm, he would be a good example for Harden both now and in the future.
